I am writing to express my full support for Discovery Childcare as they pursue opportunities to expand their services in the Windsor area. Although our daughter is currently enrolled in their full-day toddler program and not the before-and-after school care specifically, I feel confident in recommending their center for any childcare setting based on our experience. From day one, the team at Discovery has been professional, responsive, and genuinely caring in all interactions with both myself and my husband. We always feel our daughter is in safe, capable hands, which is incredibly reassuring as parents. One of the standout aspects of Discovery Childcare is their use of the Brightwheel app. It has made communication seamless—we receive real-time updates, photos, and messages that help us stay connected to our daughter’s day. This level of communication has been especially appreciated during moments of concern. For instance, our daughter, who can be a bit accident-prone, experienced a fall at daycare. The situation was handled calmly and professionally. We were informed immediately, received pictures, and were given clear follow-up documentation. It was reassuring to see such care taken. Beyond safety and communication, our daughter truly thrives at Discovery. She comes home every day in a great mood, often sharing new songs, skills, or stories she’s picked up. It’s clear she enjoys being there and is learning constantly. I would wholeheartedly recommend Discovery Childcare to any family looking for a safe, nurturing, and well-managed environment for their child. We are grateful for the care they provide and confident in the quality they would bring to any expanded site.

Discovery is the best daycare around. My son loves it so much he doesn't want to leave. He can't wait for summer when he can attend full time instead of just after-school.  The atmosphere is amazing. He has so much fun and learns so much.  The art he brings home always makes me smile. It's difficult to find child care, even being on wait lists for years. Discovery really pulled thru and helped me when no other daycare in the area could. They are reliable and I'm so grateful they exist. There should be more locations. On behalf of working moms everywhere, please open more Discovery programs in more locations.

Our family has been utilizing the program in Kingsville, Ontario since September of 2019. The Discovery program possesses a strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles. They are not only knowledgeable but also passionate about creating engaging and stimulating learning environments for children. Both of our children have been happy to attend their programs including infant, toddler, pre-school and schooI aged programs.

I’m writing to share my appreciation for the Discovery program and to wholeheartedly recommend it to any family considering enrollment. My son has been attending for several years now, and it’s been such a positive experience for both of us. I can’t say enough about the care, patience, and dedication of the staff.

My son has ADHD, and there have been challenging moments—as there are with any child, especially one who sees the world a little differently—but the team has always responded with compassion, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset. They’ve worked with him, and it’s helped him grow so much socially and emotionally.

The Discovery program has been a safe, supportive, and understanding environment for my son, and I’m incredibly grateful.

Discovery – at St. John de Brebeuf School. As a parent, I entrust my greatest blessings to the staff at Discovery – St John de Brebeuf every day, and I am grateful for the loving care and guidance the twins receive. The teachers and staff look at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. My son has been blessed with awesome teachers who understand his challenges and help him through tough days. They always greet him with a huge smile every morning and are eager to learn new ways to teach him. They include in him all activities and were even able to get him to eat other foods. POPCORN for the win!!! My daughter loves coming in the morning and being Miss Marie’s helper. She loves being able to explore and have fun with crafts and Kinder 2 sure has so many fun activities for them to do. They make it a fun and safe place for them to learn, laugh, and play. Thank you for all the extras you do for my kiddos. You really see the love that each staff member has for the students!!! A BIG THANK YOU FROM THIS MAMA!!!

"We have been with Discovery for 3 years now at Gosfield North Public School. I am at ease every day knowing my girls can attend this amazing program in the local community. The staff are warm and welcoming and are great at finding new activities to keep the kids engaged and entertained. My girls have made new friends who also attend the program, and often are eager to share about their day at Discovery when they get home. We are so grateful to be one of the families who are a part of this program and look forward to continuing with it for the years ahead."

I am incredibly grateful for Discovery Childcare services at Gosfield North Public school. Since day one, this program has been a wonderful experience for my two boys. The staff at SJB Discovery is not only professional and experienced but truly passionate about the well-being and development of each child.

Since bringing my son to Discovery from the age of 11 months to present (5 years old), we’ve watched him grow in confidence, creativity, and social skills, thanks to the thoughtful and engaging programs offered. The teachers take the time to get to know each child, fostering a sense of trust and comfort that has made mornings of separation so much easier. The thought of parents leaving their children while they work knowing that they might not be able to communicate everything about their day is nerve racking. But with all my fears and worries that consumed me for weeks before my daughter started, were quickly put aside when my daughter attended St. John's discovery location. The staff became family, from the morning greetings to the hug's goodbyes to her little stories at dinner time. My daughter was happy and her mind was growing. She made friends and learned how to be autonomous. My daughter was thriving. And what more can a mom want! My daughter began searching for her teachers' cars in the parking lot or in the grocery stores when shopping. Knowing that she is in good hands daily makes me keep doing what I have to do with work! I can't say enough good things about discovery and I know my daughter will miss it!!

Discovery St. John De Brebeuf site is a great place to bring your children if in need of before or after school care, or even for daycare and preschool services. The staff is warm and friendly and very professional. They ensure that they are up to date on provincial guidelines as they navigate through the current pandemic. Through the craziness of it all, in adhering to all safety protocols and measures, my children still have so much fun and truly look forward to the fun filled days spent there.

As a parent of 4 children, who have all been through the daycare, preschool and currently are in the before school program, I have nothing but the absolute best to say about the staff at the Discovery St. John De Brebeuf site. Site Manager, Marcia, is very accommodating and works so well with community families. The staff keep parents informed on daily activities through their specialized apps. PD days and themed days are specially planned out and my kids are adamant on attending on those days. Summer camps are also such a special time to send the kids as there are so many wonderful activities planned for the kids to participate in.

I truly can not thank the staff enough for all of their time and attention given to my children, but to every child in their care. I really do feel like they love my kids almost as much as I do.

Discovery is really a wonderful place for exceptional child care service.
