The thought of parents leaving their children while they work knowing that they might not be able to communicate everything about their day is nerve racking. But with all my fears and worries that consumed me for weeks before my daughter started, were quickly put aside when my daughter attended St. John's discovery location. The staff became family, from the morning greetings to the hug's goodbyes to her little stories at dinner time. My daughter was happy and her mind was growing. She made friends and learned how to be autonomous. My daughter was thriving. And what more can a mom want! My daughter began searching for her teachers' cars in the parking lot or in the grocery stores when shopping. Knowing that she is in good hands daily makes me keep doing what I have to do with work! I can't say enough good things about discovery and I know my daughter will miss it!!

Since bringing my son to Discovery from the age of 11 months to present (5 years old), we’ve watched him grow in confidence, creativity, and social skills, thanks to the thoughtful and engaging programs offered. The teachers take the time to get to know each child, fostering a sense of trust and comfort that has made mornings of separation so much easier. Whether it's through arts and crafts, play-based learning, or outdoor activities, SJB has consistently provided a rich and stimulating environment that supports both cognitive and emotional growth.

I am incredibly grateful for Discovery Childcare services at Gosfield North Public school. Since day one, this program has been a wonderful experience for my two boys. The staff are warm and welcoming and are great at finding new activities to keep the kids engaged and entertained. My girls have made new friends who also attend the program, and often are eager to share about their day at Discovery when they get home. Discovery – at St. John de Brebeuf School. As a parent, I entrust my greatest blessings to the staff at Discovery – St John de Brebeuf every day, and I am grateful for the loving care and guidance the twins receive. The teachers and staff look at each child as an individual, with their own strengths and needs. My son has been blessed with awesome teachers who understand his challenges and help him through tough days. They always greet him with a huge smile every morning and are eager to learn new ways to teach him. They include in him all activities and were even able to get him to eat other foods. POPCORN for the win!!! My daughter loves coming in the morning and being Miss Marie’s helper. She loves being able to explore and have fun with crafts and Kinder 2 sure has so many fun activities for them to do. They make it a fun and safe place for them to learn, laugh, and play. Thank you for all the extras you do for my kiddos. You really see the love that each staff member has for the students!!! A BIG THANK YOU FROM THIS MAMA!!!

Both of my children have been attending Discovery since early 2023, and I can confidently say the program has had a tremendously positive impact on our family. The staff are caring, professional, and dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children. My kids look forward to attending every day, and I’ve seen firsthand how their confidence, social skills, and creativity have grown through their time at Discovery. What sets Discovery apart is their consistent communication with parents, their commitment to inclusivity, and the variety of enriching activities they offer. It truly feels like an extension of our family and a trusted partner in our children’s development.

Our family has had the joy of being part of the Discovery Family since November 2023, when our son was accepted into their before-and-after-school program. From the very first day, the staff at Discovery have gone above and beyond in offering exceptional care, quickly establishing a warm rapport with both our son and our family. Every drop-off and pick-up is met with friendly smiles and meaningful conversations, which provides us with peace of mind and reassurance that our son is not only happy but also genuinely cared for. We’ve also had the opportunity to attend events hosted by Discovery, where we could further engage with their team and experience firsthand the positive, inclusive, and engaging environment they create for the children. Our family has been utilizing the program in Kingsville, Ontario since September of 2019. The Discovery program possesses a strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles. They are not only knowledgeable but also passionate about creating engaging and stimulating learning environments for children. Both of our children have been happy to attend their programs including infant, toddler, pre-school and schooI aged programs.

I’m thrilled to share my love for Discovery! Hands down, this is the best after-school program in all of Kingsville—seriously, the waiting list alone could make you feel like you’re trying to get into an exclusive club. But trust me, it’s worth the wait!

The staff? Absolute gems. They’re not just helpful—they’re superheroes in disguise, always going above and beyond to make sure your child is safe, happy, and cared for. My little one has been part of the Discovery family for over two years now, and she absolutely adores it.

And can we talk about the activities? PA Days here are like mini adventures! From road trips to movie theaters, bowling, museums, and even shirt-dyeing (yes, tie-dye is still a thing!), they pack in so much fun that even I want to tag along. I mean, a bus ride to exciting places on a PA Day? Who knew daycare could feel like summer camp!

Special shoutout to Ms. Jessica, the mastermind behind all these amazing plans. She’s the kind of person who makes every kid feel loved, valued, and like the star of the show.

If you’re looking for a daycare that feels like a second home, I couldn’t recommend Discovery enough. I even have friends in Windsor who are tempted to enroll their kids here—but alas, Kingsville is just a little too far. If you’re lucky enough to live nearby, do your child (and yourself) a favor—join the Discovery family!

I have utilized the after school program at Gore Hill Public School for about 4 years. I am a single mother, with 3 children that also works a full time job. The staff at Discovery are familiar with my schedule and my family. They know that sometimes I may need reminders or a little extra help sometimes to meet deadlines, and because they care, they do this for me.

My children are always busy trying new things at Discovery. Whether it’s a new painting project, slime, slip and slide or a healthy snack, they are always learning. The biggest thing that stands out to me at Discovery is always being mindful how we treat other and learning why certain situations are right or wrong! The incentives the children can earn for being a leader, kind or for helping out are small, like a sticker or pencil. But these teachings will last my kids a lifetime!

I can see the bonds that my children have made with 2 specific staff members at this site over the years which comforts me in knowing my children feel comfortable confiding in them. These staff members go above and beyond not only as a staff but as kind human beings. They have become a part of our daily lives and we are truly grateful to have them! I know my children are always in safe hands and I will actually be sad once my kids age out!
