Discovery St. John De Brebeuf site is a great place to bring your children if in need of before or after school care, or even for daycare and preschool services. The staff is warm and friendly and very professional. They ensure that they are up to date on provincial guidelines as they navigate through the current pandemic. Through the craziness of it all, in adhering to all safety protocols and measures, my children still have so much fun and truly look forward to the fun filled days spent there.

As a parent of 4 children, who have all been through the daycare, preschool and currently are in the before school program, I have nothing but the absolute best to say about the staff at the Discovery St. John De Brebeuf site. Site Manager, Marcia, is very accommodating and works so well with community families. The staff keep parents informed on daily activities through their specialized apps. PD days and themed days are specially planned out and my kids are adamant on attending on those days. Summer camps are also such a special time to send the kids as there are so many wonderful activities planned for the kids to participate in.

I truly can not thank the staff enough for all of their time and attention given to my children, but to every child in their care. I really do feel like they love my kids almost as much as I do.

Discovery is really a wonderful place for exceptional child care service.

My experience with the Discovery program at St John de Brebeuf has been exceptional.  I have a two-year-old who attends twice a week and my school-age son who attends the before and after school program.   They have a dedicated and friendly team and great communication.

The Discovery Program is more than just a before and after school program for my daughter. The teachers and staff who run the program go above and beyond in every aspect of the business. The activities for the children are always interactive, educational, and engaging. Kids get plenty of time to play outside and the love that the staff have for their jobs truly shines through in the care the children are provided. The "awe mom, do I have to leave yet?" at pick-up time is consistent. We are lucky to be a part of the Discovery family!

Discovery has made our transition into daycare a breeze. My son loves going to daycare & adores the staff. We have been at SJB discovery since my son has been 4 months old and he is now 3. 

The infant room was fantastic! They always updated us in everything my son did and kept his schedule similar to our home schedule. The teachers in that room I cannot explain my gratitude.

 The toddler room to say the least continued to hold our expectations. 

We are now in the preschool room and cannot say one bad thing. 

The daycare staff is fast at replying to messages on bright-wheel. Marcia, the daycare coordinator is on top of everything! She is very responsive to emails, efficient and professional! 

We cannot thank the staff enough for being so kind and good at what they do. We wouldn’t know what to do without them.  SJB Discovery is a daycare that I would recommend 10/10 times.

This is my daughter’s first year in school, and she loves the days she has Discovery!
The teachers are so kind and she loves the routine of outside play time, snack, and a craft. The teachers are very creative with their crafts, and help the kids make special gifts for Christmas and Mother’s Day. The staff put on a very fun Holiday party this year as well! My daughter loves the variety of after school snacks served at Discovery. The Discovery staff is easy to get a hold of when you need to, and flexible/helpful with schedule changes. 
We are very grateful for Discovery and their wonderful after school program!

I am writing to express my full support for Discovery Childcare as they pursue opportunities to expand their services in the Windsor area. Although our daughter is currently enrolled in their full-day toddler program and not the before-and-after school care specifically, I feel confident in recommending their center for any childcare setting based on our experience. From day one, the team at Discovery has been professional, responsive, and genuinely caring in all interactions with both myself and my husband. We always feel our daughter is in safe, capable hands, which is incredibly reassuring as parents. One of the standout aspects of Discovery Childcare is their use of the Brightwheel app. It has made communication seamless—we receive real-time updates, photos, and messages that help us stay connected to our daughter’s day. This level of communication has been especially appreciated during moments of concern. For instance, our daughter, who can be a bit accident-prone, experienced a fall at daycare. The situation was handled calmly and professionally. We were informed immediately, received pictures, and were given clear follow-up documentation. It was reassuring to see such care taken. Beyond safety and communication, our daughter truly thrives at Discovery. She comes home every day in a great mood, often sharing new songs, skills, or stories she’s picked up. It’s clear she enjoys being there and is learning constantly. I would wholeheartedly recommend Discovery Childcare to any family looking for a safe, nurturing, and well-managed environment for their child. We are grateful for the care they provide and confident in the quality they would bring to any expanded site.

We couldn't be more grateful for the amazing staff at the Discovery Child Care Program at Gosfield North Public School. Both of our children—one in the Kindergarten room and the other in the Grade 1/2 room—have absolutely thrived since joining the program.

Transitioning from another facility can be daunting, but the team here made the experience smooth, supportive, and welcoming. Discovery is the best daycare around. My son loves it so much he doesn't want to leave. He can't wait for summer when he can attend full time instead of just after-school.  The atmosphere is amazing. He has so much fun and learns so much.  The art he brings home always makes me smile. It's difficult to find child care, even being on wait lists for years. Discovery really pulled thru and helped me when no other daycare in the area could. They are reliable and I'm so grateful they exist. There should be more locations. On behalf of working moms everywhere, please open more Discovery programs in more locations.

I’m writing to share my appreciation for the Discovery program and to wholeheartedly recommend it to any family considering enrollment. My son has been attending for several years now, and it’s been such a positive experience for both of us. I can’t say enough about the care, patience, and dedication of the staff.

My son has ADHD, and there have been challenging moments—as there are with any child, especially one who sees the world a little differently—but the team has always responded with compassion, creativity, and a problem-solving mindset. They’ve worked with him, and it’s helped him grow so much socially and emotionally.

The Discovery program has been a safe, supportive, and understanding environment for my son, and I’m incredibly grateful.
